“I think on some level, you always carry your first and biggest influences with you, whether it's the Allman Brothers or Col. Bruce Hampton, people that you learned a huge amount of what you do from. So it's always there.” - Derek Trucks

"I need to sing with the sunrise and wake the world up with a song"
We are in the business of lifting spirits. We enjoy the challenge of trying to improve the world with our poetry and music, beginning with our hometown of Asheville, NC, which was devastated by Hurricane Helene September 27, 2024. We continue to explore new music and poetry, writing songs with a focus on vocal harmonies. We also enjoy playing deep-cut classic covers you may not have heard for awhile.
Venues we've played include Boojum Brewing, Waynesville, NC, The Grey Eagle, Asheville, NC, The One Stop, Asheville, NC, One World West, West Asheville, NC, RAD Brewing, Asheville, NC, Mills River Brewing, Mills River, NC, Oskar Blues Brewing, Brevard, NC, 185 King St., Brevard, NC, The Joint Next Door, Fairview, NC, Saluda Outfitters, Saluda, NC, Sirens on the Mountain Festival, Todd, NC, Get Off the Grid Festival, Swannanoa, NC.
